Thank You Mr. Owens & other Troop 60 Leaders
In December, Troop 60 recognized our Scoutmaster for his nine years of dedication to the Troop with a surprise party. Current and former scouts attended the party to thank Mr. Owens, as he steps down from the position of Scoutmaster. Always with a smile on his face, Mr. Owens has led dozens of scouts along their path to Eagle, guiding us to learn responsibility, leadership, and to have fun. We will miss Mr. Owens but hope to see him on a few campouts in the future! Troop 60 also thanks four other adult leaders who are stepping down as their sons graduate. We are grateful for the dedication of Mr. Bowler, Mr. Faucher, Mr. LeBlanc and Mrs. Oliveira. |
Early Rank Videos
The National Council has put together a series of videos for all the requirements for Tenderfoot, Second Class and First Class . Each video goes through a single requirement - rea ding the requirements and then demonstrating how to do it. This is a wonderful resource and useful for scouts who sometimes want to watch a video rather than reading something in a book. Check the video requirements by clicking here: http://scouting.org/boyscouts/rankvideo/ . |
