Welcome to Boy Scout Troop 60.
Troop 60 is a boy led troop. We pride ourselves in developing leadership, life skills, and fostering an environment where boys can grow. We create lasting memories and bonds of friendship through our weekly meetings and monthly outings. Each summer we also attend a week-long summer camp located at Griswold Scout Reservation in Gilmanton Ironworks, NH. Older Scouts have the opportunity to go on longer, more advanced high adventure trips, such as canoeing on the Allagash River in Maine and the Boundary Waters of Canada, or backpacking at Philmont Scout Ranch in New Mexico. Scouts have also traveled to Sea Base in the Florida Keys and to the National Scout Jamboree at the Summit Bechtel Reserve in West Virginia. Troop 60 is sponsored by the Sudbury United Methodist Church, where we meet every Tuesday night from 7:30 PM - 9:00 PM. We are part of the Boy Scouts of America, Post Road District of the Mayflower Council. Troop 60 would also like to thank St. Elizabeth's Episcopal Church for allowing us to hold our meetings in their church while SUMC was under construction. Sudbury Troop 60 welcomes youth and adults who are
willing to live by the Scout Oath and Law and does not discriminate on the
basis of nationality, race, sexual orientation, religion, disabilities, or
economic circumstances. Feel free to browse our site and learn more about the Troop. | News
